A CHILD IN NEED PALESTINE

CHILDREN IN NEED

Children in the Occupied Palestinian Territory live in an environment of violence, fear and limited horizons.

Due to an illegal occupation, a crippled economy and high unemployment, many Palestinians are unable to afford medical care for themselves or their children, in a region where children are regularly exposed to conditions adverse to their well being.

A GLIMMER OF HOPE

In June of 2013, we received a request asking for help in assisting a young child by the name of Muhammad in the West Bank, Palestine.

Muhammad was born three months premature, he is three years old and lives with his mother and four siblings. He suffers from a brain hemorrhage and requires regular medication and physical therapy, which his mother was unable to afford.

WHAT WE DID

Our medical aid team consulted with a local hospital and assessed Muhammad’s medical condition.

A campaign was launched in the UK to raise funds to pay for specialist treatment and medicine which would help Muhammad lead a fulfilling life.

Through your generous donations, we were able to pay for one month’s worth of specialist treatment.
